Count Unsorted Bills: Featuring Dual-CIS image processing technology, the Ratiotec X 500 is designed to quickly and accurately count unsorted bills. As the X 500 counts it displays the total value counted, as well as the number of bills counted and a breakdown of the different denominations counted.
Built For High Volume Counting: The X 500 will reduce your counting time from hours to minutes. It's large hopper holds up to 500 bills, and it's counting speed can be adjusted for bill condition - 800, 900, or 1000 bills per minute. The X 500's front-loading hopper and reject pocket allow for continuous counting, while it's batching feature allows you to effortlessly prepare bills for banding.
Dual-Pocket Efficiency: The X 500 is equipped with a secondary stacker, known as the reject pocket, that allows for non-stop counting. Most bill counters stop counting when a suspicious or defective bill is detected, requiring the user to remove the bill from the stacker and restart the counter, which can make the counting process cumbersome. As the X 500 counts it will deposit any defective or possibly counterfeit bills into the reject pocket and continue counting - no need to stop the count and no need for user intervention.
Dual-Pocket Versatility: The Dual-Stacker design of the X 500 allows you to do much more than just count your bills. When the X 500 is in Sort mode, you can run a stack of mixed bills through the machine and it will scan the first bill to determine its denomination, and then eject all bills of that denomination into the main stacker, while sending bills of other denominations to the reject pocket. You then repeat this process with the reject stack until all denominations have been separated. After the denominations have been sorted, Face and Orient mode can be activated to sort the bills into the same direction and orientation. Perfect for preparing cash drawers and deposits.
Integrated Counterfeit Detection: The X 500 employs state-of-the-art counterfeit detection to authenticate bills as they're counted. Every bill is checked for the proper UV markings, magnetic ink, metallic thread, infrared markings, images, dimensions and thickness. The X 500 will deposit any suspicious bills into the reject pocket to be further scrutinized by the user.
Serial Number Recording: The X 500 uses Dual-CIS imaging technology to record the serial number of every bill counted, regardless of bill orientation or denomination. With the press of a button, the list of scanned serial numbers can be printed with the Ratiotec RTP 300 report printer (sold separately).
Multiple Currency Support: The X 500 can count more than just the US Dollar (USD). It can also count Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Canadian Dollars (CAD), Mexican Pesos (MXN), Brazilian Reals (BRL), and Costa Rican Colons (CRC). The X 500 can also be programmed for other currencies, on request.
Print Your Count Results: After the count, the X 500 can print the count results with the optional Ratiotec RTP 300 report printer (sold separately). The printed report includes a detailed breakdown of the count, including the total value counted, the number of bills counted, as well as the number and value of each denomination counted.
